From the site that brings news about fights: Former heavyweight champion of the world Shannon Briggs (51-6-1, 45 KOs) and wife Alana Briggs arrived moments ago to Newark, New Jersey international airport. Briggs has been in Germany since his loss to WBC champion Vitali Klitschko (41-2, 38 KOs) on October 16th. Briggs suffered multiple injuries as a result of the fight with the most serious being a torn left bicep which he had surgery on. Briggs contacted Fightnews upon entering the airport arrivals terminal. We are happy to be back home. Germany was great! Briggs has a differant definition than I for visiting foreign countries.Being beaten half to death and taken to hospital is not my idea of having a great time.:nut
