Damn right, Evander is far more deserving. :deal
Plus Holy at least has a chance of victory, unlike Shannon "No Stamina" Briggs.

Yeah, but getting Holy right now ain't all that easy...... Because of his WBF title, politricks is lurking in Holy's corner....... Holy wants his belt; he ain't gonna dump it.... Also, who knows what the WBF is requesting Holy to do right now.?.? Holy has ties right now........

Briggs is a free agent who can pick and choose and back-out at any time and, look for Briggs to excercise them benefits....... Briggs is a true enigma....

Why? Haye has already backed out, and Valuev won't take his best payday, and a shot for a belt.

What we have here is fighters avoiding a 39 year old champion. Briggs as a former champion can still punch some, and is willing to hop on a plane to Germany and mix it. He'll get stopped, but he is game and ready, unlike the other jokers.

Apparently Solis said no thanks too.

Look at who Briggs has been fighting in the last 3 years. The very idea that he merits a title shot is a disgrace. Who's next in line, Ray Mercer?

For two rounds he will be the most dangerous opponent Vitali has fought since Sanders ..

**** it...... Boxing is based on names and reputation......... Briggs still has fans and curious observers..... V.K. see's it as staying active and banking another mill or two... Why knock it??? We'd all do the same under similar circumstances......

Who the **** is there in '10? "Haye and Valubum" are playing games and dude's like Holy and James Toney are ancient........ The heavyweight road dead-ends very quickly..... David Tua is still busy kayoing tune-up bums..........

A 39-year-old VS a 38-year-old with asthma for the WBC title. And it's still one of the best fights he is able to make. Hey, where's my seppuku knife? It was here a minute ago...

Tony Thompson? Oh I forgot, Vitali wouldn't want to fight him because Wlad already beat him.

Neither brother seems to want to fight a common opponent, difference is, Wlad always beats the top guys, leaving Vitali to clean up with the likes of 197 year old asmatic Shannon Briggs and Albert Sosnowski.

I say bring on Briggs, its better in my eyes then the last few guys. "Sosnowski" that fight was garbage, "Kevin Johnson" That was even worse, KJ wouldn't even throw punches for gods sake!! Briggs atleast can bang a little and will try for a KO early, I think VK will knock him out but I mean like everyone else said who should he fight!! Briggs is not worthy I agree but the division is such garbage who is??

Vitali rounding out his career making sure he keeps his record setting KO percentage against the worlds never weres and has beens, and making sure future generations see him as a weak champion whom lived in the shadow of his far more accomplished brother

Hey, if Briggs gets is overly roided-up ass in decent shape and comes in at 260 + or - pounds, we may've a damn good scrap for 5 rds---tops...... Briggs has basic skills, but his power is there...... When Briggs comes to fight its like opening up a box of chocolates....... Anything can happen.......

Win or lose, the only times I thought Briggs stunk like a rancid fart in a fight was against "McCline & Iggy" in 2002 and in 2007.....

Of course Briggs flopped in 1996 against D. Wilson on HBO, but that was yrs ago.....

Briggs' fights with "Foreman, Lewis and Botha" were good fights.........

Briggs' title win over Sergei Liakhovich in 2006 was dull, but the ending made up for it.....
