So was Elton, back in the 80's when he married that woman....and I still say he'd have fought those last few rounds against Chris Byrd with a sore arm
Wrong, he says he does not like Vitali. Keep having grand illusions that 190 pound men could beat him.
Actually this week I want to declare my undying love for old VITLAY. Seriously, I really do. Liked the guy when he first came onto the scene and KO'd that **** Hide....liked him right up until his ***** antics after the Lewis fight, went off him a bit after that to be honest, and then I joined this place and had to listen to the fan-boys week in week out which soured me even more obviously. But this week, I like the guy again. Why? Because in taking a fight with 41 year old Briggs he's taken all the heat off Haye, who can now make his **** fight with Harrison in peace, and he can justify it too
Yep, I'm honest about who I like and who I don't - but I usually have good reason for it. You have the gall to defend the absolute garbage VITLAY is facing, and has faced for 99% of his career, yet have always been one of the biggest Roy Jones critics, despite his comp level being a million times better. That's called being a fan-boy my friend. I don't dislike you for it as you seem an OK person most of the time....but I'll call you on hypocrisy as and when I see fit.
Also on the 190lbs thing....Chris Byrd springs to mind again, he was always tubby even at 210, not the biggest guy and nowhere near the monster that someone like the Rock was. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that a smaller guy could beat VITLAY but you're so closed minded you can't see what's right in front of your face.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:roflatsch I love your taste in films and women my friend, but when it comes to fighters, you've got a short circuit somewhere in my opinion:yep
Briggs is 38, but that is not the point. I do think Fighting Weight is a bit smarter than the garden variety poster who dislikes Klitschko, so perhaps after reading this post you will understand why Briggs is front runner. Here is a copy and past on the current WBC from the main forum: 1. Ray Austin - What's Vitali going to do here, see if he can beat him with one hand in two rounds like Wladimir did? 2. Solis - Said No. He's too fat right now. 3. Valuev - Wants more $$$ (way more than he deserves), keeps pricing himself out of a fight, won't accept a title match even though he has no belt. 4. Denis Boytsov - Same trainer as Vitali, at least up until recently. Needs more time. Very young 5. Adamek - ??? not ready. Has a date with Mike Grant. Might accept an offer. 6. Derric Rossy - (KO'd by Dimitrenko in 5) 7. Johnathon Banks (ya right, anyone see his last fight?? - also Wladimir's sparring partner) 8. Shannon Briggs - available 9. Samuel Peter - already lost to Vitali 10. Chris Arreola - already lost to Vitali 11. Tony Thompson - recently injured I believe, already beaten by Wladimir 12. Juan Carlos Gomez - already lost to Vitali 13. Siarhei Liakhovich - lost by KO to Briggs, lost UD to Valuev 14. Albert Sosnowski - already lost to Vitali 15. Audley Harrison - looks like a date with Haye
Didn't Natural 190lber Chris Byrd beat him? One question to the public..When is Vitali going to take on a Ring Magazine top 5 contender? This is two defenses in a row vs a non top 30 contender. Gomez and Johnson were lucky to sneak in the top 10 ratings..both were not top contenders. Vitali has never beaten a Ring Magazine # 1 contender his ENTIRE career! Yet people call this guy a "great" fighter?
Yeah, look at how "tubby" he is here: This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected Can't believe he passed the medical with that beer gut... :nut
