There both conning the public by doing this for a pay day, what Benifit is it to Haye fighting Briggs? He told us all when he came back he wants to fight the best, all he's doing is fleecing money from boxing fans who are to gulable not to see what's happening.
Why isn't Haye sticking to his agenda by shouting out fury or Joshua because he knows what happened when he done that against Klitchko, he put himself in a position he really didn't want to be and it showed in his very poor performance

I feel it's not necessarily that hearn asked him to be there, more that they will tolerate him being there given the excitement he brings. Haye is probably testing the waters on social media seeing what sort of interest is generated. But as usual Briggs struggle to follow the script and seemed to go a bit over the line there.

I'm not really that against the fight, if seen as just another warm up for Haye and it's really time Briggs got shut up. The whole lets go champ thing was entertaining for a while but now it's just gotten ridiculously stale. Time to end that ****. Briggs could get hurt bad in the ring but that's what he's been asking for right? :hey

Hearn has stated that he's looking at early to mid July for Joshua's first defence so they could clash.

Only benefit is Haye knocking out a (admittedly faded) name on terrestrial TV to set up a massive payday with Joshua.

Haye seemed rattled yesterday and has said he's getting bored of the "Let's go champ" stuff. At least if they did fight one of them would have to retire and the other would move on.
