Briggs in intensive care?

The fight should have been stopped way before the 10th round.

 

Yeah another german newspaper came up with Briggs suffering a broken right cheekbone and a broken skullbone over the left eye and neurologoical problems. ****.....that doesnt sound good.

He looked fine in his post fight interview in the ring, I even thought he was very lucent for someone who took such a beating.
His face looked bad though (not very surprising).
And yes after 10 the corner should have pulled him out, but most of the damage was done already by that time. Although 12 was brutal too.
By the way... Briggs corner sucked carrots, what a bunch of morons!

I hope he's ok.

Briggs defence was brilliant, he cleverly used the bones in his face to protect the back of his head. No suprised they are busted up. Such a one sided missmatch im not sure if Briggs should of been there at all.

I wish him a quick and full recovery. ****ing corner and ref, it should've been stopped at any time after the half point.

 

i admit I was cringing watching the last few rounds. Briggs was offering no defence against the right hand and Vit. was just pulverizing him.

Briggs is a very proud man. The ref should have taken charge and stopped the fight.

It's probably just a matter of precautions that he's in intensive care.

 

Briggs really took a beating, not many people in the world could stand through what he took. Would have been better off if it was stopped.

 

I read he had fractures around both eyes.
