What was the point of last night. Just another example of an American Heavyweight turning up in **** condition and doing NOTHING for 12 rounds

How many times did Shannon "The Cannon"...... throw is right hand? Or throw a 1-2 combo??

And another example of PED use, seems so rife in American sport.

Ill give him credit for showing A LOT of heart and taking punishment but after all the build up he showed nothing

    Kevin Johnson,
    Chris Arreola
    Briggs

Haye, Chisora, Tyson Fury, Sam Sexton, Skelton, Sprott, Audley Harrison ALL beat the above three, all come in better condition that the above 3.

SORT IT OUT AMERICA and stop producing heavyweight disgraces

P.S. Briggs coming out saying Vitali is the best fighter he ever fought....... Ye thats why Lewis knocked a prime Briggs out and Vitali couldn't put a 10 years post prime down....

Yeah im not so sure about that either.

He has a point about conditioning though, im sick of unfit ****ers trying their luck with a bomb and no other game plan against a Klitchko. I want to see the brothers win because a competitive fight where his technical skills win him the fight and not because hes got a virtual static punching bag stood infront of him doing **** all.

Really? Explain rather than just leave a stupid comment

I became a fan of Briggs after the Lewis fight but that wasn't the same fighter last night that fought Lewis. NOWAY

Its alright lifting all those weights and taking PED's but at 260lb it doesn't help you at all in the ring when your opponent is just throwing jab jab, right hand all night long.

EVERYTIME Briggs connected with the right he knocked Vitali off balance and he didn't like that. Can't help thinking what a 245-250lb fit Briggs would have done last night. Certainly would have made for a good fight

How did American boxing becme so poor. Ali, Frasier, Tyson, Foreman, Holyfield, Spinks, etc....... MUST HANG THERE HEADS IN SHAME at all these fat jokes

Erm, atleast he had the balls to fight one of the Kitschko's the same cannot be said for Britains supposedly best HW Haye.

You mentioning Tyson Fury, Michael Sprott and Matt Skelton, do me a favour. Why do you not mention Fraudley as well while you are at it...oh **** you have! Audley who was beaten Dominick Guinn FFS, not to mention Martin Rogan a glorified bare knuckled fighter!!

Briggs earned his money last night and showed a lot of guts staying in the fight. He is not a disgrace,he just could not find a way to get the punches off without taking a load.I hoped he would start a lot faster than he did but I guess he was thinking he could work his way into the fight and so conserved energy a bit.
Briggs was always up against it and people knew that,he simply got beaten by a better fighter but he did not disgrace himself and I dont think many people expected to see him there at the end.

Im not gloryfying the Brits, far from it. Just using them as an example. At least they come to the ring in 100000 x better shape than any of the yanks

And Haye will fight either Klit next year. It is a high risk fight for high so he is making as much money as possible taking the easier fights before taking on a Klit.

    Clever business.

Does not change the fact he did **** all for 12 rounds and acted the big man before the fight

Deserves it! And he seemed fine after the fight. He'll be fine!

Lesson - Don't be brash or you get your head twated for 12!!!
