Briggs might fight Szpilka. Who wins?

The football hooligan is too much for old man Briggs at this point. There's a reason Shannon has matched himself against no hopers since coming back.

Peters has absolutely no chance vs Pulev either. Pulse prob beats Szpilka but wants no part of Joshua.

 

Briggs is shot and throws 5 punches a round. His fights are boring. Who would want to see this joke fight?

Szpilka UD. But he needs to be careful early.... Chinny and Briggs can definitely hurt him.

 

Szpilka would probably win but I have a hard time seeing him stop Briggs.

Any kind of source, or just wishful thinking or intuition? This would be a real interesting fight, actually. Briggs would be a real live underdog. Spilzka is chinny and can get caught, and Briggs still has top rate power. I kinda suspect Spilzka may be semi retired at this point though, no peep of him since the Wilder ko, and I don't think he's rated by wba, so I think a Briggs matchup is unlikely

If any more of these WBA fights fall through/don't work WBA is just going to be pulling random people off the street to fight for its Regular HW belt ... which isn't too far off what it's doing now.
