Fightnews says vs TBA, Boxrec reckons Damon Reed (43-12).

Expect an easy opponent either which way.
But if Briggs can't get down to at least the early 260s, he won't be getting a HW title again. He's simply become too heavy and statuesque.

No one cares. Briggs should be a doorman.

Golota vs Briggs would be an interesting matchup. I would love to see him battle the annoying asthamatic and stop him. :D

But Briggs against anyone else that's not a glass chinned C level ESPN off-tv fighter = :dead

Hey, those glass-chinned C level ESPN off-tv fighters have feelings too, y'know.

I think Golota would beat both Briggs and Toney. Toney called him out on btalk yesterday, so maybe it could be a possibility this year. After that, Golota could get a title shot and maybe even somehow miraculously pull off a victory and finally be a world champion. He truly deserves it after all the craziness and the gift decisions against him.

Golota-Briggs would be a good one but I don't know if either fighter would risk it.

Briggs and Golota should go for it and David Tua is not entirely out of the question for either... It's time old-timers realise they can make more money fighting each other and lining up for that one eliminator fight with a top ranked young man that would earn them that final title shot.
