[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux0OlgvoGWk[/ame] He fought 48 years old George Foreman but i think 42 years old Foreman vs Holyfield hits harder than Vitali Klitschko. What is your opinion?
This guy is a ****ing shot fighter. Vitali couldn't even knock him out. Briggs had no defence. When did Briggs ever raise his gloves to defend his face? Vitali had a sitting target and couldn't floor this bum.
My opinion is you're fool! Briggs is in Hospital with the bones in his face broken! and you are saying Foreman hits harder than Vitali
Briggs once said that there are different types of hard when comparing Foreman'spower to Lewis'. I guess some fighters like Vitali can pound and really hurt you without necessarily putting you on the floor and others can get you down but perhaps you aren't as badly damaged...just a thought.
If he hits harder than these other guys how the **** was he still standing at the end? If Vitali hits harder than ATG's where's the early ko's on his record? Vitali has good sustained power/output but does not possess great one punch ko power. End of.
Before his shoulder injury in the Byrd fight he finished the job inside 3 rounds 23 times out of 27 fights. You must be a pretty new boxing fan from the Islands, because the part of Vitali's run, he sparked Herbie Hide the **** out in 2 rounds in the UK. Now visit boxrec and compare Vitali's early record to Lewis, Tyson and Foreman. But whatever you come back with... are you really going against Briggs word who fought them, unlike you?
nah, foreman hits harder. vitali probably landed more so he is probably in worse shape after the fight. and even though he didnt knock him out its probably worse taking consistent hard shots for 12 rounds than being KTFO early in the fight by bigger punches
Briggs was such a gentleman after the fight, you can't help but like the guy, and feel even worse for what his corner and the ref allowed such a gentleman to take. What a good guy and what a severe last few rounds.
He dont hit as hard as Lewis i dont care what anyone says. Lewis knocked out far stirner competition. Lewis was able to drop a prime Briggs multiple times and Sparked him in 5, he KO'd Tyson,Grant, Botha, Galota in 1, Mcall, Rahman even ****ed a prime Vitali up somthing crazy can you imagine any HW of todays era doing that to even an ageing Vitali? nope, but a 38 yr old Lewis managed it. Vitali has beaten or KO'd not that great opposition.
i agree with you again... :nod heavy hands but he is not a one punch ko artits. Shannon Briggs was just HUMBLE after Defeat GUYS!!!!
yes Wlad would **** him up even Worse. Had that Right Hand been in Vitali Lewis Fight Wlad Right hand Lennox Lewis would been in COMA!
Oh yeah, lets look at that in detail shall we? Vitali's 4 fights before Byrd. Before his shoulder injury he finished the brilliant Obed Sullivan in 9, magnificant. Ed Mahone, Herbie Hide and the great Ismael Youla 11-2!!! Gtfo, his pre Byrd resume is **** of the highest order, after Byrd the level of oppositon improves from **** to average with the exception of a past prime Lewis of course (Ltko6). In these fights he's finished before round 8 twice, Orlin Norris and Kirk Johnson. It's the standard of opposition that improved a little, not Vitalis power. Look at Mike Tyson's early career compared to his championship years. All early ko's but when the comp got better at least he still had a few pre round 6 ko's, where's Vitali's?? Ohhh... that's right.... the shoulder.....
