Haye is shameless, beating up an old man who acts like he is mentally ill is not going to go down well here in the UK.

Even our very own Boxing News shredded Haye for even suggesting Brigg's as an opponent.

Haye's chin isn't the greatest. He's been KOd by old men before!

lol... yep, a 40 year old Grandpa named
Carl Thompson beat the GayeMaker like
    a Red-Headed Step-Child!!!

    :deal :yep

it was a TKO in 5!!! :deal

after Gaye gasses from the pressure of the
fear of seeing his bombs have no affect on
Grandpa Briggs it should be a TKO in 5 or 6!!

Bombs looks awesome when they land on
Bosnian Cab Drivers but both these guys are
stepping up for the first time in many years!

Gaye's chin is shaky at best, he ran in
circles against Valuev and Waldo... I'm
sure his Game Plan for Briggs is to run
around him all night like Duckweather...

hoping Briggs will have an asthma attack!!

I would have been shocked if Haye ducked Briggs, just to find an even worse opponent. Respect to Haye for honoring his verbal agreement with Briggs. Probably he couldn't get any WBA title shot against Oquendo so Briggs is as "good" as Haye can get for the moment. His credibility is shot to pieces with TV stations and organizers.

  10. Entertaining fight ,fans should be glad. Briggs is always a threat and I think Haye is way underatted.

Briggs was always dangerous in the first few rounds and he still looks good early,Haye would look to survive early and let him gas?

    Horrible fight.
An old over-the-hill injury-prone hype job cynically getting a payday against an ancient bloated asthmatic dinosaur corpse who shouldn't even be licensed to fight.

Even in their primes these two weren't much good.

I just hope that Sky Sports does another segment of "the Gloves are off" faceoff for this fight.

I wanna hear Briggs and Haye trash talk each other in a studio setting with Johnny Nelson.

It's almost September which is the supposed time there's supposed to fight and there's still nothing official for this fight, just twitter/instagram talk from Briggs.

The build up will be far better than the actual fight. Briggs will look for his usual fast start and maybe have a decent first round but then he'll be a walking punch bag for Haye.

Let's just hope Haye takes him out quickly, I don't want to see Briggs take a beating like he did against Vitali.
