I hear Briggs has been sparring with Trent Broadhurst!

i think his going to need a hell of alot more than someone like Broadhurts, not punt intended to broadhurst. I dont think Paul is taking this fight seriouse and i suspect its only about a pay day and nothing more.

I'd like to see Briggs do well but just can't see it. Health problems, and inactivity will pull him up.

I must say he looked strong and slimmer at the Mundine fight last week....he must be doing the hard yards :good

I love how Austin mentions he stayed in the IBO top 25 after being retired for three years.

Even funnier when you check the IBO site and can't find Briggs' name anywhere in a June 2010 list of 100 cruiser weights.

The IBO computer WKO Mundine's scales :)

I'm almost getting a bit excited about this fight....I know Green is holding the cards but lets face it Briggs is tough and has a good punchers chance....if his health problems are over then he could give it a shake.

I'm going to watch this fight....I know it's not p4p greatness on the world stage......am I contributing to the downfall of aussie boxing :D

For all the hard work and effort Briggs will put in his training i dont see this going well for him. I think he will go into his shell and not throw much at Green. Im sure he will be a fit as **** but wont be able to pull the trigger on the night. I hope im wrong.

Green TKO .... Briggs will take punishment but not go down. I hope its not a sad day for aussie boxing.

Briggs didn't finish Adamek off when he had a few chances, i doubt he is goiong to want to suddenly destroy one of his best mates, the fight is a sham to line Briggs pockets.

Poor old ****** - still going off half-cocked without the full set of facts! What was actually said was he still had enough points to come in at 25 following the lay-off. No-one said that he had remained rated in all that time. Still if it gives your pea-hearted pathetic existence some kind of validity, go for it

He's been retired for three years you imbecile.

Were you waiting for an obituary before throwing his carry over points in the bin?
