Asked yourself this question. How would Green go against Adamek that same year??

    Briggs pretty easily imo.

Green is a fabrication, Briggs WAS the real deal

i think green, both had huge wars in sparring around that time and it was pretty even though from all reports, although briggs is quoted as saying that green had the best left hook he ever got hit with. It would most definitely be a war in any case.

green had quicker hand speed not by alot tho, a better jab, but with briggs he had better power, better stamina and a rock solid chin a huge heart and he will keep coming at u all day,
    verdict briggs ko 8

i pretty much see green as a slightly sharper, quicker, fitter version of briggs so going off that i think danny wins a pretty close decision. the main problem for briggs is he was always there to be hit. you cant walk through greens punches all night the way he did with adamek.

Definitely a war in 2006. Perhaps Briggs in a thriller.

yep i just think greens jab hits the target all night long , but briggsy did have an awesome chin so it is a really hard one to pick

Briggs takes it 100 times out of 100 for mine.
Briggs had ring smarts and would have worked out danny's one dimentional gameplan and stopped him mid rounds.
I think greens chin gets too much credit and that it was never tested like Briggs' was yet both used to be labeled as having good chins.

Both had similar results in their primes (pre 2007), but Briggs took on considerably better opposition, so for mine, he takes it.

its pretty basic....ademek is miles better than any 1 green has fought- the 2 wars with briggs vs ademek just shows wat type a fighter briggs is

not really. Styles make fights and green never fought adamek so we dont really have any measuring stick, they both fought stipe drews and both won convincingly so that would be a better comparison

In 2006, Green got comfortably outclassed by Mundine at super middle.

Had Green went up to light heavy and took on Briggs at that point in time, you would think Briggs would have gone into the fight as favourite.

On that logic, I would go with Briggs on points in a great fight.
