Briggs VS Peter?

    Who takes this one? It could happen. Both of these guys tend to hit like a truck for three or four rounds then peter out, so to speak. What could we expect? One guy was recently openly mocked by this guy (Gabe Brown):

    The other was just suspended for a banned substance use for a fight with a journeyman. Both former champions could use a name win on their record. Badly.

    Prime Shannon when he fought Lewis I'd say he beats Peter. Now Briggs can't even throw combinations without gassing.

    If he'd stayed at 220/230, I think he'd actually be pretty viable. Against Sultan he was in the 270s.

    I give Peter the edge. Briggs runs out of gas too soon.

    Sam Peter would win this one. Briggs does have bad stamina and he'd eventually get caught by something big when he starts tiring. Briggs best and about only chance would be to make it a brawl from the beginning and try to stop Peter early. I can't see that happening. Peter would win this mid a mid to late stoppage.
