Briggs will not be given a license by the BBoBC

    Unfair? :huh

    Tbh tho can't they just do what Frank did by circumventing the BBoBC and going to Luxemburg? (I'm pretty sure the rule is any EU country can license a fight in the UK)

    It worked for Haye v Chisora

    Not sure there is the pull for Haye - Briggs than there was for Haye - Chisora for example to explore the Luxemburg route. Briggs may provide an entertaining build up but I'm not sure how competitive he would be at this stage.

    I think they will give him one. He hasn't lost for years and is beating the same journeymen AJ and Whyte have been beating with ease. He will pass all the medical stuff also.

    He's ranked higher than haye but they wont give him a license?

    Be a bit weird if they didn't give him one.

    A lot of this is stemming from a defeat years ago. If James Toney can licensed why can't Briggs?

    Briggs was slow and barely threw any punches several years ago... I can't imagine he is any better now.
