Lets hope it comes to fruition. Lets also hope Briggs isn't done. He needs a fight soon just to keep him active.

Would be great to see him fight Woods, but I doubt he has the coin to get a Woods fight ataged in Australia.

I think the 2.4times stronger pound will have a say on where this bout is staged.

    Im quessing manchester.

Dont think briggsy has the backing$$$$ to get the fight here downunder.
Especially with grub Warren as Wood's promoter..

Man i seen Woods vs Johnson last year whilst i was in England and although Woods surprised me with a good tough performance he is fair from unbeatable.

Hope paul has something left as i feel he could ko Woods and POSSIBLY set up a TWO TITLE's bout vs Danny Green.

Would be very fitting for a warrior like Paul who so far in his career has came soo close but soooooo far..

Thats what i was thinkin Pecks.
I find it hard for Briggs's team to offer Woods big dough to come out here.

He would need really strong sponsorship & backing, as well as a great undercard to fill a stadium of at least a few thousand.

Frank Warren aint Clinton Woods's promoter.:patsch
    Its Dennis Hobson's fight academy.:good

Frank Warren won the purse bid of Woods's fight with Johnson to try & **** off his team. Dickhead Frank Warren.

Your right,i was getting confused with the welsh crusierweight wbo champ enzo macca whats his name.:patsch

You think Warren will bid for the bout???

I was at the bout, wasnt a classic but a good tussle which i thought Johnson would of won if bouts still went 15 rounds.lol.

Briggsy can win this bout forsure if he fights anywhere near his ability.

If Frank Warren wants to be a wanker(which we all know he is), he might bid the next purse bid Clinton Woods has, but because Paul Briggs aint a mandatory Warren will not be involved.

Paul Briggs can win this no doubt, he just has to find some of that old spark.:deal

If Calzaghe can't get Hopkins he'll probably fight Woods...beware

Would be funny if everyone ignored the Sports Network misfits. Woods-Briggs, Hopkins v whomever (just to **** off FWank).

I just hope this Woods-Briggs talk doesn't lead to nothing. Because I like both fighters, they both have interesting stories, they both give value for money and they're both easy guys to root for.

Briggs was a bit hard done by in the Adamek rematch. he'd do better than Adamek did, vs Dawson that's for sure. those sneaky rights, and the win over drews give him a good chance.

One thing: Briggs should stay away from tune ups. He can look really bad in these filler fights and then looks really good in the title fights!

    I thought the same thing

But a mate of mine works in a company who spnsor Woods and apparently woods is that desperate to fight ( Well wants to ) either Green or Briggs amd is happy to come to Aus to make the fight happen

When Green signed with Drews he then went after Briggs. Briggs wants the fight as well however woods has made the offer to come here if it takes that to get the fight on
Boxing as you all know nothiong is on until they are getting in the ring but from what I hear from Woods camp he will come here
Lets hope that is what it takes
