Brilliant achievement, but that was awful for boxing

Congrats to Fury, as usual I was wrong with my prediction...

No idea why Wlad wouldn't throw that right. There were so many times he was in rage and just bottled in. He looked so timid

I cant really blame Fury as he did what he set out to do. He made it very difficult for Wlad to land his jab by continualy moving side to side and his longer reach helped him reach from a distance where Wlad couldn't land.

It just showed how robotic and scripted Wlad's approach actually is. However, the fight was absolutely appalling! and when you have that level of hype and casuals tuning in expecting a heavyweight war then it isn't good for the sport.

But the overall strategy is to win which he did. If hed of started getting more involved he would of been playing into vlads hands.
Fury executed exactly the game plan theyd hatched for this fight hid intention on the night was to leave with the belts. Entertaining the paying public wasnt no1 priority that night.
Im sure you understand boxing enough to appreciate what was going down.

Well, I would be interested. And I daresay others will be too.
I don't rate the British public's taste for boxing anyway.
Yes, perhaps they'd probably prefer to see David Haye versus Audley Harrison again. Mugs.

Simply a terrible performance by both men,but especially Wlad.Fury is what he is,a lumbering giant of a man with some skill and speed and is very beatable, which should really open up the heavy division which is a good thing-if he can get past Wlad in a rematch.
I was somewhat surprised that Kugan of IFL has turned into a shill-not unlike Ellie Sechback in his undying praise for Fury and company. This was a horrid "fight" and to not recognize this shows IFL's bias.

Fury is a boring mofo. The second chisora fight had the arena almost totally empty by the halfway point. Against a poor wlad he was scared to let his own hands go. After that dismal performance I was hoping Fury got robbed on the cards.

Everybodies been waiting for someone to turn up and beat klitchko for years. Eventually someone does and the same people say it was boring. If fury would have came out from the off to knock klitchko out and got done himself these same people would be saying. Terrible gameplan. Fury was always rubbish. Fury needs a new coach etc etc. Sometimes you ve got to give credit where its due.

That's all or nothing thinking. Either you come out like a prime mike tyson and try to blast Wlad out or you box and take no chances for a boring 12 rounds safety first fight where you're worried in the ring afterwards that you are about to be robbed. There is obviously a middle ground

Probably intimidated by john fury. To be fair I wouldn't want to have to tell the truth about how **** that fight was in front of a man known for gouging peoples eyes out.

Fury landed 14 more punches than haye in 12 rounds where both men looked frightened to death of being hit.

You do realise that was because the fight was delayed and anyone who stayed would have missed the last train and been stranded in the middle of nowhere waiting a very long time for a taxi?

It was a boring fight but that's not why people left.

Some people would have stayed for the fight anyway since they paid for it but once they saw how terrible it was they would have then went.
