Smart fight, Chris tried to coax him into a war and he kept moving and landing. I don't think he can win one of the belts but still, for a light HW to get a win over a solid HW is impressive. Perhaps this will be the wake up call to Arreola, if not now then never.

Exactly how I saw the fight going! Just as I thought, the extra weight on Arreola slowed him down, his foot speed was ****! and couldnt move away from punches. Adamek bring up his cruiserweight speed and decent power was too much.

 

Great job... smart kid...good moves slaying the beast.

I think another 10 LBs would be good for him

 

I knew Adamek had the skill to win but I thought that Arreola would be too powerful. I'm glad I was wrong because I really wanted Adamek to win. Great victory and I'm glad they gave it to the right man.

 

I picked Arreola, but Adamek fought a brilliant fight. Great movement and combinations. The guy has huge heart and boxing skills to match it. I just don't think he'd stand a chance against a Klitschko or Haye, but he'd make a mint doing it .

 

a GOOD win? yes. but a BRILLIANT win? hell no, he got rocked on several occassions. but he did show good heart and the will to win. all in all adamek is the most impressive unimpressive fighter, people shouldnt be so shocked this happened though.

he had the movement going.
he had the jab working.
he beat chris to the punch like 85% of the time.
he landed those sick combinations.
he messed up his face EVEN more.
his head is so hard he broke chris's hand.

True. The former light heavyweight wasn't supposed to get rocked by a heavyweight at all. My bad, I forgot

 

klitschkos would be too big, but of course adamek has a chance vs haye.

adamek clearly carried the weight better this time, than in the estrada fight. i think 217 is his ideal weight, to be fast and solid.

adamek has a right to pick his fights, being a former cruiser and LIGHT HEAVY champ. i would love to see him vs boytsov, solis and haye.

i think vitali will offer him the fight, after sosnowski. K2s want to make as much money as they can before retiring and they'll pick on excellent former cruiserweights.

Adamek is a blown-up LHW- CW at best. He knew exactly what to throw, where to move, how to avoid getting caught by a top-10 HW who had him by 30 lbs. Brilliant.
