it was a good win. Brilliant? No way. He merely beat a gatekeeper at HW. Still glad to see some new blood at HW though.

Yes, I agree with your synopsis. The K Bros are too much for Adamek, but Haye is beatable.

Haye would be a big favourite and rightly so, the man has the belt and is more proven at HW. But Adamek has the chance to win on points and even possible stop Haye, against the K Bros at the top of their game his chances are pretty slim.

I would like to say that he may have a slight chance against Vitaly, if VK continues his decline with age. But it's not much of a chance.

Best bet is a Haye fight, IMO. :good

Sorry bud, but I don't see any gatekeepers rated at #6 in their division. :rofl

Adamek would knock Haye out. Haye is afraid of Klitschkos, he knows he would get knocked out. Vitali said that he will knock Haye out in 2-3 rounds. He said that Vlad would punish Haye for 12 rounds, knocking him out in the 12th.

vitali is very daunting. he's too big for any former light heavyweight (even though adamek was a massive light heavyweight). but vitali does look like he's not enjoying his boxing anymore. he looked pained whenever he missed vs the awful kevin johnson. and the rare times he got hit, his face was marked up and twisted....vitali reminded me of DLH v steve forbes. too big, too much, but maybe not having the stomach for it.

i think in boxing drastic things do happen, big changes occur, even when we don't see them coming. adamek has HBO on his side now (i hope), they can make big things happen for him. an opportunity will open up like it did for evander holyfield. no one gave him a chance when he moved up, because of tyson.

A 20X20 boxing ring is 400 square feet. Now don't let this come as a shock to you, but it is legal to use all 400 feet. Always has been -- always will be.

i think haye is very misunderstood and should be respected for his achievements. i don't see him as a scared fighter, not after he won all his world titles on "away" shows.

no one rates ruiz, but many felt ruiz bested valuev twice, and valuev is clearly a top 10 heavyweight. haye may only have edged valuev, but he smashed up ruiz. haye will NOT settle for anything less than the big stage and the biggest payday. it will come vs wlad and he has a puncher's chance on wlad's weak chin. the fight will happen, negotiations are being made.

will wlad dump that IBF title, give it to povetkin basically, so the haye fight can happen? haye doesn't have the mando pressing, he just smashed up the mando (ruiz) and the next top contender (valuev) is going to fight the WBC elim (vs solis)...perhaps adamek could go for the vacant IBF title - he is the IBF international champ, and has beaten a world class heavyweight (arreola), so who knows?

Possibly. But do remember, they told him as much before facing Cunningham - a very slick, talented boxer imo. Fact is, Adamek is pretty good at adapting to what's in front of him.

I'm sorry, but you're ignorant. Most people in boxing ranked Arreola top 5 before this fight.

I've got to give full credit to Adamek. He was very good tonight, much better than I thought he was going to be. I had some doubts as to whether he could handle the upper echelons of the heavyweight division and, while he's not yet proved himself top 3, he's certainly in the top 5 or 6, which is much higher than I thought he'd get.

Congratulations to the man and I wish him the best of luck.

I'm thinking Haye in the Autumn ...

Haye would be the logical choice.
