Bring back the 15 rd Championship bouts

I still hope against hope that the 15 round title limit will be returned!!! It will help redeem boxing more than anything...that and Championship fights returning to network tv!!!

 

This is how I see it. I don't see the extra three rounds making the slightest bit of difference on the heavyweight landscape.

But the fifteeen rounder should be brought back. Imagine all those great moments we would have been deprived of if boxing had always been over twelve rounds. :-(

 

I think the heavyweight scene would be pretty different. But, amongst the top heavyweights, who win their fights by KO, likely not so much.

 

Ahhhh,....15 rounds...boy ...those were the days!!
15 rounds for a world title....12 rounds for the US title....
and 10 rounds for a main event.....I WISH it would go back to that....BUT....it will never happen!!!

 

Unmarketable.... unfortunately. It will never be back. Not during our lifetimes.
