Anything would be better than that!

I hate to say it, but I can actually envision a scenario whereby Ruiz beats Haye.

I just want Ruiz to go away!!

Adamek ~vs~ Haye = Heavyweight Excitement!

Agreed and tua vs Haye or Adamek vs Tua would be a great fight as well.

We've seen lesser skilled fighters than Adamek hold Tua at bay with simple jabbing tactics.

No reason Adamek cannot follow that blue print with more success.

Wlad smokes Haye in 2 or 3 rounds? Rummy, you're better than that.

5% chance of reaching Wlad's underrated chin? If Wlad's chin is underrated, then so is. 5%? He got to Valuev's chin and had him doing the chicken dance. I think he will have zero problems reaching someone 6'6 after reaching after a 7'1 fighter.

Wrong again. I respect you as a poster but disagree completely. There's too much room for unpredictability in a Wlad vs Haye fight. Regardless of Wlad being favored and more experienced. Adamek most likely gets stopped by Haye.

Adamek was askd who he would prefer to fight Haye or Valuev, he said Haye. When asked why? He said he is easier to beat.

If adamek doesnt KO or score KD's against Haye I see him losing a decision...I give haye the advantage in the boxing skills dept.....haye is a underrated counter-puncher, has fast hands(when not broken)....has better footwork then adamek.....skills for skills....haye has the edge over adamek....I rather see tua vs adamek then haye vs adamek....

Valuev is 6'11 the 7 feet tall is for marketing purposes. Valuev also has an 85" reach rather small for his height, Micheal Grant has 86" reach for comparison.

My official pick was Wlad KO2.

In my honest assessment, Wlad was all wrong for Haye for reasons that go beyond tactical prowess, heavyweight experience, and major advantages in sheer size and strength. That Haye made it personal is something that always led me to believe Wlad would have taken more chances had they actually fought back on June 20 as originally slated.

I do believe Wlad's chin is underrated. I by no means think he has a great chin, but cracking his chin is not as easy as many around here seem to suggest, ergo, I believe it's underrated.

That aside, Haye got to Valuev's chin--in the 12th round.

He had a very time getting there, though. Reaching Valuev's chin was no easy feat. Reaching Wlad's chin is an even more difficult task (ask Chagaev).

I do give Haye a chance against Wlad, because he does have the power to catch him cold, but I maintain the odds of that happening are extremely unlikely. In order for Haye to get to Wlad's chin, he will have to get by a lot more incoming fire from a fighter who is much stronger, much faster, and much more fluid than Valuev. He will also have to tend with Wlad's impeccable survival instincts, whereby even if he succeeds to get inside, he will be clutched like an octopus with Wlad's full weight weighing down on him.

Reaching Wlad's chin with flush shots is not easy, especially since Steward has had time to leave his mark and fine-tune Wlad's fighting instincts.

I really can't see Haye lasting very long against Klitschko. I don't think his chin withstands Wlad's power. Haye will have a difficult time avoiding Wlad's shots, and at the same time, he will have an even more difficult time landing his own.

Well, we can disagree and remain respectful.

    :good

For my money, Adamek-Haye packs much more potential in terms of excitement and entertainment value.

He may not be 7'2 like advertised but he's at least 7 foot. He towered Haye. Let's not exaggerate the other way. Boxrec lists him at a 7 foot mark. He's definitely not shorter.

And this is coming from someone who thought Valuev got screwed. Where's your credibility? Pretty lacking.

Better than a shot Golota and Adamek was a light heavy once too.

I believe a shot Golota is a tougher opponent than a shot Barrett, and I also believe that Adamek looked more impressive against Golota than Haye did against Barrett (as did the majority of ESB posters in a poll I made on that very topic).

I guess you forgot when he said. "I would punish Haye for 12 rounds and knock him out in the 12th." So if you were a betting man you might lose money on those early round KO picks.

Well, underrated or not. I still most of Haye's shots tonight (Clean ones) seriously trouble Wlad. Agree or disagree?

I honestly think he hurt him more than Valuev let on. Unless, a grazing left hook wobbled the Giant. That in and of itself is impressive. Was it due to attrition? Maybe ever so slightly, I don't think from too much.

Ah, another heavyweight that was lauded as a white Tyson. Except his got minimal footspeed (Only impressive in comparison against Arreola) when compared to Haye, and an offensive arsenal consisting of a 1-2. He doesn't have the bombs, speed, combination, or power of Haye. He was steadily a non-participant in the Wlad fight. His upper body movement doesn't even compare to Haye's either, who I do admit has a weak defense but at least his reflex seem decent enough.

So you're not really giving him much of a chance then? 5% is extremely harsh.

Yes, I do agree with this. But, maybe we should give Haye the benefit of the doubt with the hand in regards to not unloading more. And Valuev's sheer size, awkwardness and height and reach makes for a tough fight. I agree Wlad has an offensive game. But the flip side is if Haye can hang in there and get Wlad to exchange more and possibly counter, then maybe he can hurt him. And the real flip side is, half of the shots that Valuev got smashed with probably hurt Wlad big time. There is intrigue in the fight, no?

Wlad's impeccable survival instincts? Let's not exaggerate. The Klits love to hug and drag across the ring for their lives, but only Vitali has mastered the surviving for dear life. Will Wlad turn around and run like his brother does, though, that is the question. Wlad survival isn't that good and his chin is weaker than his brother's. Also, Vitali's chin is already overrated as it is.

Alright. Question. Who has the better chance for a Haye win. Fight with Wlad or Vitali?

Similarly, how does Adamek get inside Haye's offensive onslaught.

    :smoke

Lastly, don't forgot Wlad's tendency to run out of steam. His stamina isn't as good as his bro's.

They're very comparable and marginal either way. But you're a big Golota fan. Too, so don't stretch that.
