I always thought this was a winnable fight for Shane. He's fast enough and strong enough to hurt Floyd, and while it would not be easy to land, I always liked Mosley's chances in this match-up.

Perhaps, with this impressive victory over the seemingly invincible Margo, the interest might finally be there.

I say Mosley wins. Bring it on!

I think everybody is too hyped aha, but I think that Mayweather still takes it. Remember Mosley got troubled by both Cotto and Mayorga.

Years ago yes, but now I don't think so..

Unlike Cotto and Mayorga, I think Floyd would have a hard time hurting Mosley. It wouldn't be easy though.

If I am right, and Floyd cannot seriously hurt Mosley (consistently), Mosley wins. If I am wrong, Floyd wins. That simple, in my mind. It all comes down to Floyd's ability to hurt Mosley, because Mosley is still fast enough and strong enough to hurt Floyd.

    I REALLY like Mosley's chances.

This is now the fight I most want to see. Even more than Mayweather-Pac, as I believe Mayweather wins that rather decisively.

I am not going to overrate Mosley after this victory the same way many overrated Margo after he beat Cotto.

I just always thought Mosley matched up well with Floyd. It would NOT be easy, but I like his chances a lot. Key is, he's fast enough and strong enough to catch and hurt Floyd-no easy task, but something he can do.

As I said previously, it really comes down to weather or not Floyd can consistently hurt Mosley--and I do not believe he can.

If Floyd can't hurt Mosley, Mosley wins, that simple.

Chill out Rummy you getting ahead of your self with this Mosley can beat Mayweather non sense....this fight comes down to footwork and timing which is something Mosley has always been terrible at...and when have you ever seen Floyd Mayweather seriously hurt?? Once? Twice if you watch close enough!

    Floyd wins by UD....

Known fact: Sugar Shane Mosely does not like to fight boxers!!!
If you jab him he'll get fustrated if you walk him down and you have a solid defense to deal with those fast hands (see Mayweather vs. Judah)
    you'll beat him.

Oh and Floyd would increase his workrate against Shane....cause Shane did look dawg on tired in about the 7th round of the Margarito fight that wouldn't fair well against Floyd who is an assasin when it comes to finishing tired/hurt opponents...

This fight should've been made in like 03' but during that time Floyd was just a nobody to the boxing world and nobody would fight him...

Just ask Shane and Oscar as a matter of fact Shane jumped a whole division @140 just to stay away from Floyd so the conversation about them fighting wouldn't keep coming up.

Yeah, Shane has trouble with boxers, particularly those who jab, but Mayweather lacks the pop to seriously hurt Mosley. To me, that's the difference.

Yes, the jab frustrates him, but I still think Floyd lacks the size to trouble Mosley to the same extent he was troubled by Forrest or Winky.

Not so sure about that. Oscar was even more fatigued in his bout with Mayweather, and I don't recall Floyd increasing the pace, this, despite the fact that Oscar has a history of fading down the stretch.

**** 2003! This fight can be made RIGHT NOW. I guarantee you Mosley wants the fight, the question becomes, does Floyd?

    I hope so.

Because realistically, Mosley is the one who has the best shot at beating Floyd, not Pacquiao.

Size made a difference in the Delahoya fight with Floyd...Oscar weighed like 170 fight night Floyd came in at like 148 had the Oscar that fought Manny step in the ring with Floyd he would've got crashed!

His footwork and timing will make up for the lack of size against Shane they are about the same size...Shane throws a lot of punches off balance and if he misses he leave's himself wide open and i mean wide open...this fight would be boring to you man cause Floyd would scrape Shane the whole night...Shane just might quit!

Mayweather by UD or TKO in the 10th depends on if Shane wants to survive he's to old to deal with Floyd now....like seriously they should have made it in 03.

I won't share but its 25 a gram...and i'm a realist Shane can't do it anymore i'm not sure if he could do it if they were young and at 130 Floyd is just all around better than Shane.

What Shane had over Floyd is gone now....and power is not it his footwork has become terrible and it would be exposed against someone like Floyd and his hand speed isn't what it use to be either.

I'll give Shane credit for taking fights that Floyd doesn't wanna waste his time with because he'd rather weed out the weak and face the best and most popular competition but that's where it stops...Shane Mosley is a great talented fighter but he can not I repeat can not beat Floyd Mayweather he'd get schooled at this point in his career.

Mosley takes this one all day. Mosley will bring the fight to Floyd for 12 rounds, no tiring down the stretch. Think of it this way, Oscar faded down the stretch, and still managed to only lose by split decision. Mosley is faster and stronger than Oscar, and he wont tire as the fight goes on. Mosley throws combinations with a lot of power, which will keep floyd on defense. Mosley UD 12, IF Floyd even fights him, which I doubt. Im sure he'll take the winner of Pac Hatton as it is the easier fight
