The more a see Froch, the more respect I must give to him.

I'll actually favor Froch - either on points or KO.

I agree that Froch has finally proved himself as a better than average world class fighter. No one will have an easy time against him. He is very tough, he can take a great punch, and he keeps coming and throwing big shots. If he only used his jab boxed more...

...but, he is more vulnerable to the body than most people would have anticipated. Now that the secret is out, expect Froch to be in fights that are harder for him to win. Bodyshots will slow him down and his stamina and strength won't be as great in the late rounds.

Abraham's got one puch KO power and if Froch continues to hold his hands as low as he did last night he's going to get hit with some big shots. Abraham by KO!

The body work was a good game plan from Kessler and Montoya, taking the wind out of the sails in the later rounds.

You know what Froch is like.. he'll trade with AA with his hands low trying to be the tough guy.. Gonnna be real tense for a Froch fan. I wish he would put his hands up!

Assuming his chin holds from a few big right hands , I think Froch outworks him to UD. Froch's looping shots may do alright against the AA guard.

If he trades with Abraham, he's getting KOed, I think.

His best bet is to keep Abraham away by jabbing the **** out of him, and by using his right hand and uppercut precisely, at the right time, in my view.

Yeh I agre.. Needs to use his jab more and tuck up.

Last night was odd.. Froch gave away too many early rounds going backwards and not throwing enough. It looked like he was real worried of Kessler's power IMO. I need to watch it again.

I had Kessler winning by a couple rounds.

I had it 115-113 Kessler, but could have had it slightly wider if I had given a very close round to Kessler instead of Froch.

This is exactly how I scored it and I gave the 50/50 rounds to Froch.

Froch's chin is NOT granite. If he knew it, he would box smartly enough to avoid getting ko'd by Abraham. Overconfidence is not always good.

I got to go with another late knockout or stoppage by AA, Froch has not impressed me in either of his fights so far, especially in the Dirrell fight

yes i was thinking the same, but at least its his body and not his chin. he can work on the body and make it stronger, and he would be foolish not to because like you say the secret is out.

I wrote the following in another thread:

    1. No, he (AA) is not a fighter who produces a fight of the year candidate, but he is able to produce a KTFO of the year.
    2. Froch is more active, but more explosive is Abraham. His punches are faster and have more pop. If Abraham was able to tag Dirrell (although not flush), he'll be able to do this with Froch as well.
    3. Froch's chin is very good, but not excellent. Even if it would be, AA is the hardest puncher in the tournament and will be able to hurt Froch.
    4. Froch's reach advantage: He has a massive reach advantage and that, together with his activity, will make the fight difficult for Abraham at times. However, AA has dealt with tall, active fighters before and the best of them was Dirrell (incredibly strong performance against Abe). Froch is not Dirrell. He isn't capable of doing to AA what Dirrell did.
    5. Mental attitude / will: Froch and AA are on the same level. Froch is very confident and believes in himself being a fighter. The same with Abraham. He won't give up a fight until it is over. He's gone to a world of pain in the first Miranda fight and won't be mentally affected by cuts or pressure (and Froch will try).

The fight will be an exciting one and both will have their moments. In the end Froch won't be able to absorb all of AA's bombs. He can't move out of the danger zone like Dirrel did.

AA by KTFO (no clue when it will happen, but it will happen).

Looking for a Froch win but like so many Super 6 fights - too close to call. Loving this thing.

Green to KO Ward??? would leave round 3 looking very tasty indeed - where is Green Kessler due to be held??
