Hopkins is really starting to slide now, Bute would probably be a slight favorite over him. Dawson beats Bute but I can see HBO pushing for that fight now that a Bute-Pavlik fight is gone, atleast for now.

Hold up a sec are we reallly using Edison Miranda as a measuring stick ?Prior to his KO loss to Pavlik didn't Abrham and Pavlik do numbers on him ??Bute should go after the winner of the super 6 hell he can have classic match ups with any of those fighters ..Its time to set the groundwork for the next reign at super middle ..Forget fighting in a circus fact for no relevance that is exactly what the Hopkins fight would be !!

    VOTE NO ON HOPKINS BUTE

Bute would tool Pascal for ****sakes. i've seen both of them fight many many times and they don't compare IMO. i wouldn't go after hopkins either unless no other option was left. i just don't think beating bhop no does much for bute.

" Bute is, by far, the best 168 lb. fighter in the world today. Miranda went 12 rounds with Ward while Bute knocked Miranda out in the 3rd round."

I don't beleive it was directed at u .but read anyway Bute is on his way but needs a better test than Miranda :good:hi::bbb

Bute will be hugged to death in a very ugly fight with B-Hop, so NOT INTERESTED!!!
Let him fight each of Super 6 dudes, afterward!!!

Who said Bute was by far the best 168 lbs fighter in the world today? It couldn't have been one of the following known, mainstream Bute fans, could it?:

Maxime, laffie, catasyou, Boxing in montr, Badlok, Fightfan of Mtl, WesT, scorpy, sean, PH|LLA, boxfan99, tuna, Nemo, Brickhaus, goofy, etc., etc.

Lucian Bute wouldn't even be competitive against Chad Dawson. Dawson would beat Bute by a wide UD.

I think that if Bute made 2-3 rounds very close and won another 2, he could lose by wide decision and still be competitive, no? ;)

No. Losing a fight 10 rounds to 2 does not count as "competitive". Dawson might **** around and stop him late, anyway.
