This picture should help you decide whether it's worth to risk two truly all time greats health four our entertainment... They gave it all in 3 fights and we've seen it all: blood, brawl, skills, KDs, KOs, scorecards... the only thing we haven't seen yet is one of these great warriors getting hurt badly and I certainly would not like to see that. 4th fight? Give them a break! Please!!!

If not a 4th fight, then what? At SBW the only big name for a great fight is De Leon and he's not that big. Vazquez moving up to 126 of course is risky (he’d be a very small FW) but the big names are there and R. Marquez should look for his great punching power back at BW. I've got two superfights to be made, and for first, you'll say: YOU'RE CRAZY. Maybe, but I want VAZQUEZ vs. J.M.MARQUEZ and R. MARQUEZ vs. C. MIJARES! These superfights should be and can be made!

    VAZQUEZ – JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ
Isn’t that obvious? Vazquez looking to move up but the great Linares or Guerrero is a big risk for pretty low reward in early 2008... both will be superstarts but at least a year from now. Chris John won’t come to the US. But what about JMM? He never had weight problems at 126, moved up only to meet MAB and now PacMan there... so what about TAKING CARE OF FAMILY BUSINESS AFTER PAC? Moving back shouldn’t be a problem and that’s a true superfight with a family business involved. Can you imagine Vazquez taking on the big bro after the great trilogy with the lil’ one? OMG, WE GOTTA SEE THIS!

    MARQUEZ – MIJARES
Of course Cristian Mijares is a SFW but he’s a big SFW and actually taller than Rafael so moving up to BW shouldn’t be a problem. While Marquez moving back would be a smart move because he lost a good 30% of his power at SBW... he’s the best at BW and that fight would be an absolutely the hardcore fan’s dream superfight. Marquez is not yet done and Mijares is one of the most skilled boxers today. I’d let Hopkins do a free face-lift on me to see this one!

    So hardcore fans!
    What about these fights?
What fight do you want to see after Marquez’ and Vazquez’ long, well-deserved lay-off?

For me, it’s JMM and Mijares. And for you?

Are you nuts? You don't want to see Vazquez get hurt but you want to see him in the ring with JMM?

Marquez would stop Mijares and Juan Manuel would give Vazquez an unnecessary beating.

JMM vs Vasquez would be murder man.

Time for Vasquez to unify at Super Bantamweight, I see the winner of Caballero vs Ponce de Leon (Cabellero) vs Vasquez being a pretty big fight and one Vasquez can pull off comfortably.

Molitor would give him alot of trouble and is less of a name so maybe the least enticing option

    J. Marquez vs Izzy thats suicide for IZZY ..well then again Marquez isn't getting younger, but I still see a victory for Marquez.

    R. Marquez vs Mijares. Mijares would take a beating, sure he can box , but what else can you do if your some 1 walking right through your punches.

    I know.

If there was a few rumours about another Morales/Pacquiao fight after the third, it'd be like someone coming along saying: "No chance. I love Morales and don't want to see him get permentantly injured. However, Sam Peter is free for a few months...."

   right. I mean why would Vasquez not want to fight Linarez and Guerrero and agree to fight JMM?

In the "BIG BROTHER" point of view it's really interesting but realistically it doesn't make a sense.

You don't think he'd stop Mijares at 118? Or is this because you'd hate to see Mijares get stopped?

    I'd cry for days!:|

But hmm, imagine if Mijares fought a perfect defensive fight and managed to outbox him, P4P #1?:think

    H2H? Yes

It would be the modern day Pep/Saddler. Mijares would be at such a huge disadvantage, but if he overcame it...my GOD!

I don't just rate on the name of the opponent, but the challenge and disadvantage. That's why I can get critical of Hopkins and Hagler's wins sometimes, though I give more credit to Hagler, because both always had the advantages.:yep

Tito and Duran coming to mind especially, not their brilliant MW wins, like Hopkins blasting Johnson into next week, I give that the highest praise.

Did you know that despite Navarro being a B fighter, he presents Mijares more stylistic issue's than any of the top 5 fighters like Munoz and Montiel? Those two are in for a thrashing really soon.:good

Israel against JMM would be legalized murder in a ring. It's a recipe for brain damage way worse than whatever 4 fights with Raffy could do.

Raffy vs Christian would be a great fight.
