A lot of people don't like Tarver but to wish harm on a guy you don't know and could whip your ass is very cowardly and immature.

I think Tarver had his number style wise, the third fight was very boring with Tarver completly dominating a scarred Jones, and even almost ko Jones in the final round, so if they fight right now i pick a shot inactive Tarver over a more active shot Jones jr.

I doubt Roy would be able to overcome the mental advantages Tarver held over him.

He was scarred to death in the 3rd fight. Even after having a strong round or too, Roy was utterly petrified of him. I don't think he'd shake that, and Tarver looked alright against Dawson in the rematch. I think Tarver would have stopped Lacy in 6.

Prime for Prime, Roy owns him, but Roys career is in a new chapter, and in this chapter, its already been written he's been beaten twice by Taver.

The last person Roy's need to mess with is Tarver, Tarver= Roy's Kriptonite! and besides there are bigger paydays out there = HOPKINS!!!!!!!

Hopkins would make Roy look like an amateur, at least he'd have a shot against Tarver. Tarver was showing signs of his age in his last fight against Dawson, now would be the time to capitalize on another rematch with tarver to even the score.

    I agree 10000%.

Despite how Tarver humiliated him in and out of the ring, the stupid ****er (Roy Jones) chose to showboat and lay on the ropes to let Tarver get away raking rounds. It was a disgrace and he should not be allowed any chance of redemption.

He was given several chances and the funny thing is that in those rematches, Tarver pretty much gave in to all of Roy's bull**** primadonna purse split demands, despite it is Tarver who is the champ and Jones is the one needing who was beaten up.

Imagine what it would mean to their legacy if Tarver beat Jones again if they hey fight again - it would solidify what sensible boxing fans already know, and it will convince the remaining fanatics once and for all - that Tarver beat Jones

Not because of the 25 lbs weight loss from HW

Not because of the lucky punch

Not because of the the lack of motivation (Tarver gave him all the motivation by humiliating him in and out of the ring)

Not because that Jones intentionally lost so his father will not get credit if he had won

But because Tarver simply has Jones' number.

I think Jones should retire, but.... if he carries on fighting anyway, I think Tarver would be a pretty good idea due to him being passed his best aswell a bit now too. I'd rather see him face Adamek or Hopkins though.

I'd like to see Roy against Hopkins, DM, Johnson and to a lesser extent Tarver. But anyone Green is next

That's not a bad idea and Tarver needs this since he's considered done after Dawson.

I agree, If anything Jones has got better since the 2nd fight. He's got his confidence back and is not feeling the effects of the weight anymore.
