Big difference is Sergio hits like a truck now. He's overrated as a boxer true, but I wouldnt underrate that power tho. In the Cintron fight you could tell he wasnt sure to box or ko, but hes more confident in his power now. If he kos more and boxes less God help the 154-160 division. Thats some nasty, prolific power he has.

What I especially don't understand are people who want to use Martinez-Margarito as a relevant indicator of how Martinez would handle pressure fighters today but then completely deny Zbik-Chavez as indicative of how Chavez does vs. guys who give him movement. The fight over 12 years old is completely relevant to this discussion and Matinez surely hasn't improved at all in that period, but Chavez by contrast has improved SO much in just over a year to make all talk of the Zbik fight pointless.

Martinez has gotten way better since then. Has more skill. Easy win for Maravilla

The only department were Martinez has "Improve" is in the "Power" area, that's it , If he can't hurt Chavez he's ucked.

Ouch!, Good chance that may happen! Chavez jr will put a lot of Pressure on Martinez and go for that body and head.

Cotto was about to brutally KO the POS Margacheto if the doc's would not have stopped the fight!

He beat the fugg out of the cheater. No plaster, no win!

The cheatting ***** got his ass beat, and his face destroyed...he must be the saying thank you for the pillow gloves punk!

    Catch weight? What 1lb? GTFO!

Laughed? Yeah, that was his reaction to being plummed all night and could not do anthing about. What a fugging "payaso"!

Not really. It was a good way to wind Martinez up, and if he's lucky, put some doubt in his head (although unlikely).

This is going to be a great fight between 2 great fighters. This really could go either way, i favor Chavez, dont know why i just have a slight inkling he is going to pull the win out the bag.

Hopefully it will be a great fight and we will get a rematch!!

I thought the TS was referring to people bringing it up when attempting to analyze this fight, and he's completely right about that in my opinion.
