Bringing up Singsurat and Torrecampo is SO irrelevant!

Why does everyone keep bringing up these guys? Pacquiao's losses in those fights are just as irrelevant as Bernard Hopkins losing his first pro fight. Why? Because I think it is safe to say that no boxer in history has made such vast improvements as Pacquiao has in such a short amount of time. Pacquiao has improved more since his first fight with Morales in 2005 than many guys have improved over their entire careers.

People who bring up Pac's losses to Medgoen Singsurat and Rustico Torrecampo are just looking for something to bring the man down. I think it is painfully, painfully obvious that Pac is nowhere near the fighter now that he was back then. He was only 17 when Torrecampo beat him. He was older, more experienced, and was even the flyweight champ when Singsurat beat him, but like I said, and this is more fact than opinion...he wasn't nearly as good back then than he is now. Comparing the Pacquiao of today to those fights is like comparing Peyton Manning now to how good he was in his rookie season.

The bottom line is, anybody who knows boxing knows that using Pac's early knockout losses is NOT credible in regards to how he performs now. His loss to Morales arguably is, but not by much, considering how much better he has gotten since then, and one can even say that he has gotten better since his fights with JMM. The fact is, Manny Pacquiao has shown us something he hasn't shown before in each of his last three fights or so, which is why I believe that he has a very good chance to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.

 

Yeah, Mayweather keeps bringing that up...if I was the interviewer, I'd ask him that since he knew so much, name the names of the guys that KO'd Pac. I'd bet everything I have that he couldn't do it.

Not only Nallege brings them up. People all over ESB bring them up, hence the "3 paragraphs". I put it paragraphs because it is easier to read than the jumbled messes some of these guys post on here.
