I've been told they will "look into it" and let me know by email later. I told them i placed the bet with the knowledge that it was a 12 round fight, which makes the chance of a KO/TKO/DQ more likely than in a 10 round fight. I also explained that all other bookmakers and media outlets had the fight listed as a 12 round fight. Can't see me getting a refund but we'll see. I don't think there are any set rules regarding fights where the number of rounds is changed mid-fight

 

Great performance by SBW, really controlled the fight but Botha came on strong and despite some questionable tactics, would almost certainly have won in the 11th or 12th round.

It's pretty embarrassing for Aussie boxing when a length of fight gets altered mid fight.

If I remember correctly, Choc's WBA International middleweight title fight against Shannan Taylor was 12 rounds, so that's what I was expecting here.

 

i have never heard of a fights rounds being changed half way through a fight. i wish fox had posted the source of the information published.

i think alot of people are missing the point.

the POINT in all of this is what was sold to the public?

-people buying tickets to the fight

-people buying ppv

-people betting on the fight

all with mindset and idea that it was in fact a 12 round fight. no clarification before start of fight that it had been changed. announcement made during fight

 

I think SBW knows for sure that it got cut short to save him, he should man up and call it straight since hes so quick to get on and tweet about corruption in judges and wot not , he should double check who he hangs with cause in all honesty him and his team and associates come off looking the most deluded and corrupt.

Yes. I didn't see the fight but I understand SBW showed a lot and he's in with cheats unfortunately. Nasser was too gutless to throw in the towel.
He can do a great deal better for himself.
