Tommy Hearns who fought and KO'd James Shuler in 1986 was ready to kill at 160 pounds. Tommy Hearns was KO'd by Marvin Hagler in 1985 but, nobody beats Hagler at 160 from 1980 thru 1986.... Now, back to Hearns... Tommy Hearns (When his right hand is healthy) was a vicious puncher between 147 to 160 pounds. Hell, Hearns even had some decent power when he rattled shots off of Dennis Andries' head / jaw in 1987 at 175 pounds, as well... Anyway, Tommy Hearns beats the rugged but slower Bennie Briscoe from the outside by a wide margin... The 1970 to 1972 version of Bennie Briscoe would have his moments, but Hearns would be too fast, skilled & powerful throughout a course of 12 to 15 rds.... I can't see Briscoe getting in close enough or long enough to really hurt a well-tuned 1986 / '87 version of Tommy Hearns.... Peace...

    P.S.

Briscoe had the better chin by far... I'll give that to "Bad" Bennie all the way...
