Right, I'm going to get my finished today. I thought I had plenty of time over Xmas but the days just slipped away and I was back at work before I knew it. Come on guys, lets have some more lists!!
How about we extend to the date to a week Friday (22/1/10)? I hate to be responsible for you failing your exams...;O)
Nah, it's alright. This has been delayed enough already. I'll aim to have a list up sometime today :good
I don't think so, if Harvey had of beaten Thil for a version of the world title and put a couple of defences together then maybe.....
McAvoy is from Lancashire :huh Gilroy is scottish but I admit i am quite sketchy on him and all my info comes from his Grandson who is a very passioante supporter of his and rates him very highly indeed. Personally I dont rate him as highly but he is still decent. Although is he and McAvoy top ten worthy on par with Eubank, Benn, Watson, Pyatt, Sibson kinda level?
Its tricky because 2 of the four in that list won versions of the world title when there was 4 titles to go for. Harvey failed to win a (lesser) version when there was 2 belts, Sibson failed when there was one version (he was well past his prime for the Tate fight) and McAvoy never even got to Euro level at 160.
atsch His name sounds Scottish I'm assuming Turpin is more or less a lock for no.1? Just 'researching' a bit and I found Turpin and a Frenchy called Charles Humez were ranked 1 and 2 by the Ring at the end of 52. Turpin beat him on points for what was recognised by the BBBofC as the World Middleweight Title but not others. http://news.google.co.uk/newspapers...AAAIBAJ&pg=7245,2117222&dq=humez+turpin&hl=en
