Paul Weir. Whats your thoughts on him and what he achieved ? Yes i ask you, the Brtiish Forum. I certainly know of him and tbh not a lot...... but hey, thats the cool part.............i get to learn and wonder. 14-6 4 KO's, KO'D in 3 :thumbsup http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=5405&cat=boxer
Never heard of him before, but being a 2-time 'world' champion at 2 different weights is nothing to be sniffed at (even though the WBO was relatively new back then). Edit: Seen there is some footage of him on Youtube, will give it a watch later :good
Used to watch him on TV back in the day, he was the first ever winner of the newly created WBO belt at his weight at the time, won it in under 10 fights too:good Only wish I had recorded the fights... My memory is pretty hazy about just how good he was though, in comparison to todays fighters etc. Used to see gim in Glesga Toon centre back when he was champ, wee quiet guy who just walked about minding his own business. Maybe I will check him out on YT, go on a wee nostalgia trip.
Posh twat. Abit random here but theres a picture of him in my gym. Hes running a marathon with the old trainer who was a handy fighter himself Colin Brown. Tiny wee next to Colin
I'm just kidding. You seen Colin Brown? A cruiserweight back in the day boxed on afew Weir undercards. Was a brilliant amatuer, something like 3x Heavyweight champ of Scotland and no one would fight him.
