Brit fighters who really need a step up in their next fight?

Hearn in his IFL interview yesterday (Saturday) said.. Buatsi Vs Callum Johnson WONT HAPPEN THIS YEAR, maybe Spring next year... I think the word we should all focus on is MAYBE.

And there you go, it's not happening any time soon and I'm convinced it won't next Spring either, Hearn, Team Buatsi and Buatsi himself won't fight Johnson.

I actually don't think Buatsi would fight Yarde if he was offered it now. If I was Yarde I would put it on them now, I'm convinced they are hiding something with Buatsi.

They are obviously protecting Buatsi from something, something isn't right here, he is 27, he had a long and successful amateur career and they are going at a snails pace with his pro career, they have no real intentions of having big domestic fights any time soon..

Maybe injuries? Maybe glass Jaw? Maybe he has just gone backwards?

 

Were the usual suspects have said all of them they cant be far wrong and this situation at the moment is going to make it even worse

 

I'm a JB fan, still think he's a special talent and always watch his fights with great interest, BUT he does need not just a win here but also needs to win in some style and put in a performance.

His last two fight he did not look so good as his fights in 2017/2018, don't know weather it's inactivity, poor quality of opposition which is making him complacent but I think he has gone backwards. He's pulled out of a couple of fights due to illness or injury too so maybe there is an underlying issue.

Whenever he is interviewed he seems very vague and non comital when any big domestic fight is mentioned. Not a good sign. Starting to think there is something wrong which is being kept under wraps. Hope that's not the case...
