I hope you pointed out his error, and reminded him that Duran was the biggest thing to come out of Brazil since Pele!:good

Sounds it. I couldnt imagine being in a room with Hearns and Duran. If I do meet Duran I want to call him out, for a joke mind.

Also, you better be prepared to get ripped. Unless you actually are a tracksuit wearing ginger scouse midget.

    I noticed that.

Never met the fat ******* in person - but I seen him standing next to David Haye on severla occasions - and he looks big next to Haye - and when you consider that Haye is 6 foot 3 inches and 200LBS - that means Bunce must be ****ing huge.

Before you post your pic Gaz - you may as well come clean first -

So how tall / short - are you really 5 foot 1 inches ?

(actually I have seen Bunce in person - at the Calzaghe bill in Cardiff - I walked ringside - and Bunce was just staring at me from the press section - but he was sitting down)

    5"7 which I think is technically a "short-arse" rather than a "midget"

I aint that tall myself anyway - about 5"9 or 5"10 - maybe 5"11 with shoes and socks on.

I want to be six foot. :|

Yep, I got measured a few weeks ago for my works medical and I was 169cms which is just shy of 5-7 (or slightly more than 5-6 depending on how you look at it) and that was with a pair of (non-platform!!) shoes on. So I guess 5-6 would be a more honest answer!!!

    Thank god for that.

The homo alarm bells would have really been ringing if you were measured wearing high heels.:lol:

Before the internet nobody knew about anything and the promoters had it easy.

We woudln't have known the Wlad and Vitali are two different people or even exist perhaps before the internet if that is what teh promoters wanted.

5'7" is quite short and 5'6" does definately qualify as "short arsed" :thumbsup ... i would defo find it difficult to be in the same room as a 5'6" man and not make an "off to work we go" comment :deal

Good thread. Unfortunately the likes of Hearn etc feel the sport exists to serve the likes of him. There's too many people in boxing like this. Rather shamefully any dissent towards what boxing is today isn't responded to with answers but with counter claims and spin instead. The most galling part is that a misleading world title label is being used to help increase profits for all involved. In all other sports that tag would act as a sort of quality assurance. Not in boxing though. No wonder terrestrial tv isn't too bothered.
