Prospect - not a consensus top 10 in the division so guys like Povetkin are out.

Share with us some guys who you've seen who are maybe not very well known but you think could do something in the future.

I share with you a 25 year old Nicarugan HW called Evans Quinn. Current record of 18-2 with both losses coming early in his career. Worryingly one of his losses was a 1st round KO against some bum. I don't think this guy can be a world champ or anything but he could be a contender maybe :think.

    What you think?

    Good shout :good

He really is quality. Hopefully he gets moved along quickly like Gamboa. He's already 25 or something.

Nice thread. Not entirely sure who is considered top 10 or w/e...but my personal choices that have never been world champs or really close yet that people should look out for...

    All the Cubans
    Gennady Golovkin
    Beibut Shumenov
    Danny Jacobs
    Dmitry Pirog
    Vanes Martirosyan
Selcuk Aydin (loses against a good mover...but he's a favourite of mine)
Vic Ortiz (prob top 10...I dont care)
    Mike Alvarado
    Urbano Antillon

Gennady Golovkin, I think he is very very exciting defensively and offensively.

Alexeev will be back for my money. He needs to hit the road and he'll be stronger.

Golovkin was a standout amateur, as Alexeev was.

But i dont think he's all that as a pro.

talking (loosely) of prospects did anyone see Hearns jr get flattened at the weekend? It was a pretty entertaining fight at its level.

    Yes.

That Hearns is a disgrace to the name. The only thing he inherited were his fathers whiskers, and even that is at a significantly lower level. You would think with a name like that there would be more hype surrounding the kid, but its pretty obvious why there wasn't. A blind man could see had nothing, this was a matter of time.
