Anyone else booked a train from Hanover to Hamburg?

What is the cheapest way to do it? any ideas

 

Bahn is probably the best way to buy tickets.

I'm thinking of getting train from Cologne, 4 hour journey. £130 though 2 months in advance is steep though. Even more expensive than over here. But flights are cheaper to Cologne and I can't fly from any airports close to me straight to Hamburg anyway.

 

So whats everyones grand total for the trip? With the 130 euro tickets I'm about £375 per person for 4 nights.

 

200 ticket, 240 for 2 nights hotel, 330 flights=770 pounds in total

Add in spending money and id actually be cheaper buying a top of the range 3d tv and watching it home with bottles of champagne...quite depressing when you think about it:-(

 

Ticket £120, flight £90, Train £30, Hotel £45 Beer £200

 

£395 all in Fri-Mon.

200 quid so far. Leaves me 200 quid spending money

 

I've paid up front for a mate so I'm using that cash as spends.

Yep, should be plenty mate. I've done the same with the DeGale-Groves fight, as long as I get the credit card paid off before the trip its like having free spends (well, sort of!!!).

£100 flight
£50 trains (to hamburg and to amsterdam)
£150 hotels (3 nights)

£365 per person

 

We're going to Gilgamesh in Camden on the Friday night and then just around London for a few beers Saturday afternoon before the fight. Are you going to that card?
