yeah I went to Hatton-Tszyu with a couple of guys, 1 was from Leicster and he when we got in an argument with some locals he was the one who got the 'soft poof' **** and abuse from them, even though he certainly looks harder than I do. It was the same story when i lived in Salford for 3 years...my accent undoubtedly earned respect while all the southern lads ended up getting all the **** and occasional kickings from the locals. Again, accent overrode physical appearance no doubt, lucky for me. TTPF - are you actually British? how come you living there, if you don't mind me asking of course?
The next Joe Calzaghe fight :happy It's a good idea and I thought something would have maybe went down among the Scots at the AAA-Guzman fight, but hard to arrange for various reasons. Im pretty strapped for time the now haven't even been posting as regularly recently on this
Isnt it meant to be a meet to watch a fight... By the sound of previous few posts its going to be a geordie circle. You lot are crazy but if it all goes tits up i know a good field
I know im not exactly a regular poster on here despite being registered on the site for years now but id be up for it. How about the Arthur - Mitchell fight if it comes off? That could end up an interesting night given the nationalitys og the fighters involved :yep
If there was a meet it would have to be at the fight of the year. Are the Harrison-Peter tickets on sale yet?
I would be up for that i go to quite a few fights anyway. I am scottish but dont mind travelling for a good fight
When I said knuckle sandwiches I meant the 'knuckle' you get when chewing on a chicken drumstick, you know those chewy bits that you have to spit out that resemble human knuckles. You still want one?
Seriously though folks, I would love to meet up with some of you. If it wasnt for Scotty going off the rails, Im sure I would have met many of you by now, if you were heading to the Braehead to see Scotty fighting. It wasnt to be though, & here I still am, waiting for my great scottish boxing moment.
