    I'm just ****ing with you.

I myself am a big Marquez bros fan. Although I like Rafa a bit more than Juan Manuel.

I'm so-so on Pac. I admire him greatly as a fighter, but he keeps beating my fav fighters like the aforementioned JMM and also Cotto.

Don't you ****ing **** with me, or I'll **** you back, you ****ing ****er:twisted:.

Yes, I made a thread after the Pacquiao-Cotto fight - which was titled 'Manny Pacquiao, You *******' - in which I also expressed the same paradox where I genuinely respect Pac for his achievements and crowd-pleasing style, but it's really hard to like him when he beats up all of my favourite fighters all of the time. It's stupid, really.

The Marquez's are like the Mexican Neville family (their sister is a very successful netball player apparently) and Waugh brothers. It's unreal to see members of the same generation of a family be so successful in such competitive sports. The odds of just one of them being a top-class fighter are staggering, let alone both. Incredible family. I wonder if they have an outcast sibling who has a 'normal' job who the rest of the family sneer at:lol:.

    No worries, my man.

    115-113 Johnny Tapia

First time I've seen this fight, and what a fight it is! All out brawl for the most part. Ayala had some success early as Tapia looked to trade, but Tapia brought it back. I had it even through 8, with Tapia then starting to use his evident speed advantage to make Ayala miss and punish him with counters, taking 3 of the last 4. Some very close rounds throughout I thought.

Although I had heard of Tapia (and Ayala for that matter), this was the first time I'd ever seen him fight and tbh.....the bloke is a nutter!!! Absolute mad man! At the end of each round it seemed as if he wanted to go in for afters. The highlight for me though was when he slipped in the 9th, then quickly got back up and tried to hit Ayala, as if Ayala had pushed him over something. I like him!

Also, just wanna say that you're doing a top job with this thread Losfer! I especially like it because, as I'm fairly new to the sport, it introduces me to quality fights and fighters I haven't seen before. Cheers!!:good

No worries. I will add this now and recalculate the overall average. Everyone please bear in mind that the new deadline for fights to be scored is every Sunday at 15:00 following the new fight's initial addition to the thread.

    Thank you.

You should read Tapias book. The guy is a bloody lunatic. One of my favourite fighters. When he fought Danny Romero (also from new mexico) they were both aligned to rival gangs, riot police were on duty all weekend and fights broke out on flights from New Mexico to Vegas between the rival gangs :rofl
If Tapia had knockout power he would have been something else. He loved to stand and trade so much but he just didnt have that big punch

I ****ing love that fight. Forehead to forehead whipping in shots at each other, bloody brilliant. Some of the body shots from each fighter were proper sickeners. A really good toe to toe inside fight for the majority of it. Rounds 2 and 5 in particular I absolutely loved
    Also Tapia UD Donaire :deal

    115-114 Tapia

Absolutely love this fight. One of those ferocious wars but carried out with such great skill and technical ability by both fighters. The speeds with which some of those combinations are thrown are insane! :deal I did think Tapia got the better of the mid-late rounds and thats why I think he deserves the decision, the first 6 are as even as you can get but rounds 6-10 were Tapia time :thumbsup

It could have gone either way though I suppose, the 2nd fight was a bad bad decision though IMO. Maybe it should be consideration for a future fight to score as its a legit controversial decision instead of just a close one, although not on the level of the first one its still a good-un, I'd have to find and put a better version on Youtube though.

How about Sykes-Morris for a future one? I remember I thought Morris won but I haven't seen it since the night and its a recent great all Brit fight. Not many scorers again for this one so far, I reckon Froch-Kessler will get big interest even though its the worst (still great) fight so far.

Sykes-Morris is my fight of the year so far. I really enjoyed it. I havent seen it since the night either, downloaded 2 weeks ago but havent got round to watching it yet. If I remember right I had Morris winning by 2 or 3 points. Had the beer goggles on though so I might score it again soon

Had Morris too but I remember a couple having it for Sykes.

Certainly the all domestic FOTY so far IMO, the two contrasting styles made for great viewing and I thought a rematch would be a cert. Not sure if its the overall fight of the year but a rewatch might refresh my memory on how good it was. Hopefully its taken into consideration.

Need a few more scorers for this fight, although with the amount of live boxing this weekend I doubt there will be many :verysad

 Good work mate, its gonna be a great Saturday night to be a boxing fan :good Hope to get a few more scorers in between the Booth and Limond fights. Its an amazing fight in which I'd love to see who has who winning.
