I watched it the night Williams "fought" Cintron so it's been up for a while. Can't see why they'd take it down any time soon.

Hagler 114-115 Leonard. The mid-late rounds in this fight are an absolute ***** to score, IMO. I even watched the last round twice as well. Initially I thought Hagler, but on closer inspection I feel Leonard landed the better shots with his flurries in the final stanza. Here is how I scored the individual rounds:

    1-L
    2-L
    3-L
    4-L
    5-H
    6-EVEN
    7-H
    8-H
    9-L
    10-H
    11-H
    12-L

In my defence, I did ask for recommendations and that's the first one I got. If you did then I am sorry:conf.

Hold your horses there, fella. We can't **** off all the people who have now scored this fight. Give it two weeks or a month (however long people think it should be between scoring these fights) and recommendations will be open again for the next fight. If everyone else is happy with Martinez-Williams, then it suits me as well:good.

Can't believe I've never watched this fight before.

Am I allowed to post a download link for the fight?

Great Fight. Hurts watching Hagler lose. The man is what i love about boxing.
I had Hagler by a round. Lost the early rounds. People like to say because he was orthodox to contend with Leonard and never done it before. Utter bollocks. He did it against Mugabi. I think Marvin sometimes over thought about his boxing and complicated his fights more then he needed.

:lol:Very subtle. The mods won't crack that code, mate.

Without sounding pedantic, I need the scores as a whole if you have them so I can calculate the average score when we're all finished so we can sit back in awe at the collective wisdom of the ESB crowd's scoring capabilities. I can't tell this way if you scored any of the rounds even and I don't want to assume. Cheers.

I'll do an RBR tomorrow but expect it to be incredibly biased.

The 118-110 scorecard at the time was someone wishing Leonard to win, and I understand the score for Hagler. The rounds I gave to Leonard later on could easily have gone to Hagler.

The 11th round was difficult. While Hagler's punches were harder, Leonard was making him miss so much that I gave him credit for that along with his own shots. So, an even round seemed fair.

For me, it was Leonard winning the sixth that made it possible for him. He took the initiative away from Hagler after his first good round of the fight. Even though Hagler won the next three, it gave Leonard the chance to snatch rounds just by keeping them close.

Great fight, but I'd forgotten how angry Hagler was right after.

As already said, lots of close rounds - I just liked the flashier work of Leonard more. Round 9 is what this sport is all about :yep
