    Never seen this fight before. Started well but got progressively worse in quality as they tired which happened quite quick.

    Personally I had no problem scoring this fight for Meldrick Taylor. I'd have a hard time being convinced Davis had enough substance in this fight. Taylor was far from accurate upstairs but his bodywork won him the fight. Davis hinted at better quality but he was overly negative and his punching was few and far between. I saw round 10 his way unlike everyone else though, even when he was on the ropes I saw sweat flying off Taylor's head, he landed some good punches in that round.

    The deadline for scorecards is every Sunday at 15:00 following the current fight's addition to the thread, you blind *******. I'm actually really looking forward to scoring the Taylor-Davis fight at some point in the next few days as, judging by the comments so far, it was a top pick on Gaz's part.

    After this fight we are doing a Morales-Barrera trilogy bonanza for three weeks straight. Suggestions for future fights to score are, as always, more than welcome.

    Lewis-Mercer is something I wouldn't mind us scoring in the future. I've watched it once, didn't score it though. However, on a thread in the Classic ages ago I seem to remember a few people scoring it even and one or two even giving Mercer the nod.

    I'd quite like to add Lewis vs Holyfield II.

    Even though the fight wasn't controversial I think it's closer than two of the cards suggested.

    If it wasn't for the first fight being a complete and utter farce I think there would have been a stink over this.

    I think that the fight was there for the taking for Davis in the last 2 rounds but he didn't do enough to win either round.
