    1- Taylor
    2- Taylor
    3- EVEN
    4- Davis
    5- Taylor
    6- Davis
    7- Taylor
    8- Davis
    9- Taylor
    10- Taylor

    97-94 Taylor.

I thought that was great. At times it was hard to split the pair of them and it went down to whose work you preferred for whatever reason, but I think Taylor was much more effective with his work, landed the better shots and deserved the nod overall. Some of the rounds were quite tricky to score and I am still wondering if I should have scored the last round to Davis and if the round I gave even could have went o either fighter as well:think. I think if I watched that fight another two times, I'd have 3 different scorecards.

Top pick, Gaz. I have never seen that fight before and in addition to it being a good fight, it also had some interesting bits of history attached to it; both fighters seemed to end up with nothing but bad fortune and disappointment when trying to make their way in the sport. Thanks for the upload:thumbsup.

the last round should be classed as 10-8. Even tho it wasnt a legit knockdown the ref called it as 1 so the judge's would have given it 10-8:good

I've debated that for many years as to whether I should abide by the refs decision, what my own eyes see and/or what the replay shows me. Like I said, Morales was hurt and tired so I don't have a problem at all with 10-8. Being a Barrera fan is the deciding factor in why I chose to error on the side of impartiality. :thumbsup

It's always hard when it comes to knockdowns.

I was tempted to score round 3 of Marquez vs Pacquiao 10-9 to Pacquiao because I felt that Marquez won 99% of the round before getting put down...... but ended up going with the 10-8.

    :bump

Just a quick reminder that you all have until 15:00 tomorrow to score this fight. The responses so far have been nothing short of underwhelming, though:lol:. I think it's about time this thread died:lol:.

That is a massive help, mate. Thank you for taking the time to tally it all up:thumbsup.

Losfer, IMO it'd be better if you changed this to every 2/3 weeks. People would get some more time to score the fight and you'd get more participants. It's your call though :good

I am all up for it, mate. In the first few weeks of the thread's rebirth when we were scoring fights every fortnight we had a fair few entries. That said, we also trialled a 2 week scoring period a few weeks ago and even less people participated!

Personally, I'd rather the fights were put up every fortnight as I am finding it hard trying to watch all of the fights and tally them all up in one week as well. The decision is the forum's as a whole, though. What does everyone else think?:think...

    Los,

I was hoping to score this tonight but my internet connection keeps dropping out and its taking me 3 or 4 refreshes to even get a thread up. Unless it clears up in the next couple of hours I'm afraid I'll be handing my work in late.....

Well, we've had just two scorecards thus far so I don't see why we shouldn't just extend the scoring for this fight another week. This fight will run until Sunday next week now, people...
