I have recently started collecting boxing programmes and was wondering what other people may have collected.

Here is the list of programmes that I have:

    Eubank vs Benn I
    Eubank vs Stretch
    Benn vs Wharton
    Leonard vs Hearns I
    Calzaghe vs Lacy
    Calzaghe vs Kessler
    Haye vs Enzo
    De La Hoya vs Trinidad
    Gomez vs Juuko
    Romanov vs Earl

I also have some tickets (Leonard vs Hearns, Benn vs Eubank II, and Calzaghe vs Lacy) and a signed Mike Tyson picture.

Anyway I would like to hear what any of you guys collect if you do :good

    Oh where to start!

I have the autographs of all HW champs from Willard to Patterson, plus signed stuff from Henry Armstrong, Barney Ross, Tony Canzoneri, Benny Leonard, Tommy Loughran, Sugar Ray Robinson, Basilio, LaMotta, Conn, Zale, Graziano, Berg, Wilde, Bummy Davis. Tickets for Dempsey Tunney I and II, Dempsey Firpo, Dempsey Willard, Dempsey Carpentier, Dempsey Gibbons, Davis Jack, Davis Graziano, Armstrong Garcia, Johnson Jeffries.
Programmes for Dempsey Vs Tunney I and II and Carpentier, plus countless other stuff too numerous to mention all from fighters active pre 1960

Well I have never seen you post in the Brit forum Jack, but thats ok cause I know your a great poster in the classic forum :good

Can I ask how much it cost you to buy, on average, a Dempsey programme? Plus I know a great website for old school boxing stuff, although judging by your collection you may already know it!

Wouldn't want a fire in your house! I was very close to buying a signed Ali picture once but decided to put the money towards a new car. Now I wish I bought the pic:patsch.

serious?? Thats impressive, and obviously cost a bit!

I know this strictly isn't memorabilia, but I remember some guy on esb telling a story of how he ended up being in Nigel Benns corner for one of the Benn Vs Eubank fights. That is memorabilia in itself, and i'm sure the guy took a ouvenir that night!

I thought the part when he absolutely drenched benn with a bucket and the trainer had a pop at him but Benn said it was alright was hilarious!! What a story.....

The DURAN/MOORE is one ov the rarest posters in boxing christendom, tiger press did a re-print 20+ years ago (About 500) useing the same printers ov the original (Only about 200 originals produced & NO programmes)

I was on the dole at the time ov this fight & married with 2 babies on £87.60 a fort-night, i don't gamble, but i lumped it all on Roberto at 4/1 jeeeeezus i was filling me nappy, could'nt sleep & could'nt even afford a newspaper, anyway:!:

I rushed out at 6am 2 the paper shop & only the daily express had the result & it read like this DURAN'S back with a CRASH! BANG! WALLOP! i ****in freaked LOL:happy:happy:happy
