A British fighter should be born in Britain? Revolutionary idea there...:p

Read it again wiseguy. Its a short, easy rule that allows Fitz, Bruno, Honeyghan and Magri to all be considered.:deal

Can you include all 4 of those boxers in a more concise rule for this HOF??:bbb

He must be British or fought for a British title.

Pretty sure I trumped you by a few characters

So that will be my rule with a couple of words missed out (and now grammatically incorrect as a result)?:p;)

We could have a rule 'Pick fighters based on common sense', although that might be lost on some

I reckon mine was so concise you could even make it gramatically correct if you are that way inclined

Common sense? No chance. You want to be debating boxers and fights, not passports and birthplaces. We just a need a clear, concise rule.

    "Born Brit, fight Brit title".....:patsch;)

Haha, excellent. To be honest you could do away with words all together and have pictures to represent it :yep

    im thinking

    Pioneer (Bareknuckle Pre 1890s)

    Old Timer (1890-1920)

    Modern (1920-present)

Influential British Fighters or Forgotten Fighters (so your journymen, inspirational fighters etc...)

    Non-Participants (trainers, journos, managers etc..)

Thats not bad - for the first induction we could have 3 fighters for the 'Pioneer' section, 3 for the 'Old Timer' section, 5 for the 'Modern' section (wider span, more popularity etc.), and 3 for each of the other groups.
