    :rofl This thread went downhill. I just thought it would be interesting to see if there was a country you had a great respect for for producing a certain type of fighter.

    Well, I did say there were only 10 options and I did provide you with an 'other' option, didn't I?;)

    Arguello, Mayorga, Alvarez, Perez?:huh Obviously it wasn't worthy of a space on the list in your eyes:roll:.

    ****ing hell do you have to take everything I say so seriously? And no, it wouldn't be worthy of a place in my eyes on the list at all because I thought it was current fighters (you have listed one current fighter...) and not all-time, and then I still wouldn't put it on the list. Arguello, all-time great, Mayorga, colourful character who struggled to mix it with world class, Alvarez, best known for his loss to Ricardo Lopez. Now please list 10 more 'great' fighters from Nicaragua, then I may change my opinion.

    Thanks for the input, everyone:good. Interesting to see that I'm not alone in my appreciation for the style and heart of Mexican fighters. It would have been great to have more than 10 options in the poll, but it wasn't possible and I tried to balance things between continents (hence Ghana as my African option!), but I couldn't put up any sporadic Asian options in so left an 'other' option. What has really suprised me is that only two posters (Kos and HeavyT) voted for America; I really didn't think that America would get so few votes:good.
