    1. Vicente Saldivar
    2. Julio Cesar Chavez
    3. Ruben Olivares
    4. Salvador Sanchez
    5. Miguel Canto
    6. Carlos Zarate
    7. Rodolfo Casanova
    8. Baby Arizmendi
    9. Juan Zurita
    10. Kid Azteca

Too much trouble differentiating between the modern day Mexican trio and Ricardo Lopez to place any of them on the list, but I've got no issues with anyone who has any of them in the latter half.

Saldivar continues to be one of the most underrated fighters of all time. One of the greatest champions in the history of the Featherweight division.

See, there's 3 serious contenders that I didn't consider :good

As per Trio Vs Lopez; skillset, Finito looks better than any of 'em, but all of their resumes are so far superior I have no problems putting any of them higher :good

Yeah, too much of a conundrum picking between their proof in comparison to Lopez's skills and dominance. Then there's the issue with just splitting up the Mexican trio themselves.

Yep, not entirely happy with my placings of them to be honest.

Barrera, Morales, JMM, in that order, Barrera Morales is pretty close IMO, Marco Obviously won the Trilogy and has solid wins over Naz, Tapia, Ayala, McKinney, Fana but Morales has that big big win over Pacquiao aswell as Jesus Chavez, Junior Jones, McCullough, Kelly, Ayala and his first world title over Zaragoza. I think he was very unlucky not to get the nod over David Diaz to become Mexico's first 4 weight world champ and could still do that next month.

These outweigh drawing and closely losing to Pacquiao, Katsidis, Diaz x2 and Casamayor which are all good wins and Marquez is a pleasure to watch but i couldn't rank him above Marco and Morales

Been looking into them 3 Mexicans uput in your 7th 8th 9th.

    Baby Arizmendi:

''Arizmendi's superior boxing and effective body punching enabled him to win almost every round...Fighting with a broken left wrist from the second round, Arizmendi gave one of the most courageous exhibitions in Mexican ring history."

That was against Henry Armstrong. Also i noticed this ''World Featherweight Title (California version)''

can any1 shed any light on this :think

Thought for World WelterWeight Title weighing 136 LBs

turned pro at 13 (some even say he was 7:yep)

Armstrong was around the Lightweight limit for his Welterweight title fights :good

Arizmendi was a quality fighter, and got a few victories over Armstrong though he lost the series. Fought great opposition, extremely tough and holds notable victories over other brilliant fighters such as Newsboy Brown, Tommy Paul, Freddie Miller, Mike Belloise, 'Chalky' Wright and Fidel LaBarba.

He never held THE World Featherweight championship. What he won is no different than being a 'titlist' nowadays. He was one of the best Featherweights of his era in a great one, and one of the greatest Featherweights of all time.
