Forgot to tell you, I did watch Arce/Ruiz LP :good

Cracking fight but one of the KD calls was right dodgy :-(

 

Whats yere favourite Roberto Duran fights lads, aside from the obvious ones against Hagler, Leonard,Barkley and moore? I might do some delving into the less well known fights of his career? I know Durans is Panamanian but whatever

For the record, I love Duran-Benitez, simply because they're two of my favourite fighters ever, who are also from two of my favourite boxing nations.

I just dont feel the heat from Mijares, maybe its because I havent seen enough of him, but what is you find so good about him?:think

Maybe it's because I'm a boring ****er, I love watching Mijares, Calderon, Mayweather. Those who may be considered boring by some but it's only because of their technical brilliance. Mijares is excellent, or at least he was(we'll see soon whether he still is or not) not too long ago. Basically, that post I did on him explains why, I can't really be arsed writing it again.

 

I like Sweet pea and Mayweather so I enjoy a few technical fighters, I might check out a few more Mijares fights again, if I can be arsed:good

 

just finished watching the Ruiz/Arce fight, a few observations i made

1. it was a cracking fight, haven't seen either guy before but will look out for both in the future.

2. Mexican commentators are awesome, no idea what they were saying but they sounded very excited.

3. Mexican women have great breasts

i scored the fight 113-112 to Ruiz, how did others score it?
