I am not being patriotic or trying to stir up anything here, but can you think of one or possibly two combined US states which have produced as many ATG's as Britain has all in all.

I was just trying to envisage a rough idea of which country has produced the best fighters per area, though this is slightly unfair as boxing is concentrated in certain states in the USA. On the other hand many of these single states dwarf the UK.

well.....there is that city named detroit.

    Louis and Hearns?

You may be right, I dunno, as I say Its a serious question. But I dont think those two, however great can rank abouve evry single Brit together. We have had some truly great champs over the years.

Not one single state has even close to the same population as the UK. I think California is the closest at 30,000,000.

The USA has a great boxing heritage, but world class boxing has been in decline in America for several years and shows no sign of abating. Athletes are chosing different sports. For example, for the first time ever Britain has as many undisputed number ones(Ring Champs) as the USA

The thing is, Haye...The USA doesn't compete with Britain.

Your stretch of land and people rarely occur to us...except for The Beckhams, Scary Spice, and your ****ed up royal family. We have to hear about them on TV here and there...

yet Britain TRIES to compete with The USA all the time...

When the fact is...that Britain isn't worthy enough to even be considered The USA's competition.

It would be in your little country's best interest to know its role and shut its hole.

New York has produced more ATG's than England has. Period.
