The problem with amateur boxing, is it no longer boxing, more fencing with gloves. They might as well put punch sensitive sensors on the fighters bodies/gloves and get rid of judging period.

Amateur boxing has a great history, but the modern version of the sport is not the same thing.

Cuba might just sort out the heavyweight wank pile problem that we have at the moment should they be allowed to turn over. GO CUBA!!!!!

Bull**** - mass underachievement for years - only starting to see some results in the past two/three years. But before that there was ten years of no medals or support

if you look at the olympics and world's over the years the irish have always had stroing representations and medals. Much more than Britain/ England/ Scotland Wales/ Norn iron.

If you look at the last ten years the medals have been spread more to all countries.

Dont know where you get yer facts from but its a **** source

Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland fight as one country in the Olympics.

We havent won a boxing medal in over 15 years!!! Apart for a couple of medals in the 92 Olympics you have to go back to Moscow in 1980 for a medal - a bronze! And we've done **** all at the worlds either - couple of bronzes is all we have.

    Shite record imo!
