Britains best chance to have P4P champ!

Physical attributes and 'boxing skills' are interwoven. How would you go about ignoring them? How do you rate Klitschko without taking into account his height, or Juanma Lopez without taking into account his punching power, or Mosley without taking into account his handspeed? Those physical attributes are part of what makes those people the fighters they are.

 

Hatton can't be P4P no1 on the back on beating Manny, but he would deserve a place back in the top ten. Who's out there to beat that wouldn't be beating up on a smaller man (JMM) or that he'd actually beat in the weightclass above (Cotto, Mosley)?

If he beats Pac and JMM he'd have a shout. People say 'no they're comin up in weight' bull****, if Hatton beats the no.1 and 2 P4P consecutively, then finishes off by beating the winner of Bradley/Holt/Torres/Urango round robin then he will surely be no.1

 

People also forget that although strong, Hatton is not tall. I think Pac might be the same height as him, so Hatton's hardly Paul Williams :rofl

 

i think Pac will be physically stronger than Hatton. I think it's going to be a one sided beating after three rounds of semi-competitive mauling.

 

Do we? I always fancied Hatton for this at 140 based on styles. True, 147 would be a lot trickier but its far from a "given".

 

If Hatton wins then Marquez is #1 that's a no brainer.

If Hatton then goes on to beat Marquez then I'd have him at #1 it would be deserved.

 

Hatton wouldn't win the P4P title by way of transference. He'd win it because he is currently the best and linear 140 pounder not to mention a top 10 p4p fighter with p4p wins.

I think Joe was also considered the best in the world.
