Fully agree mate. Stadiums are crap for boxing. The lack of atmosphere sucked the excitement out of some undercard fights IMO as the fighters feed off it. Majority of people won’t have been able to see what was going on.

Unless you get a proper fire fight (Joshua v Klitschko/Dubois) then the atmosphere is awful for main events in stadiums too.

Never seen this whittaker kid fight but I haven't heard anything to indicate he's got good KO power. Naz became a superstar because he had the death touch. If he was a feather fist, he'd just be the mid 90s version of Prince Patel.

AJ will probably continue his career for another 2 or 3 years and the fight against Tyson Fury will come even if Fury loses for the second time to Usyk.

Only potential star that Matchroom has right now is Johnny Fisher. They must continue to build his career but the key word is patience. There is no reason to take any chances for the next 2 - 3 years and then he´ll maybe will be ready for the big stage.

First time I've seen Naz, Whittaker and the Prince in same sentence, made me smile

One man that has upset the odds a few times in the past is Tyson Luke Fury as underdog away from home and I am always wary of writing him off.

The greatest sporting comeback in modern boxing but I think the best of Fury was left behind at the end of the Wilder 3 fight over 3 years ago. That fight was the best in the era but reduced the future longevity of the careers of both men and totally finished Wilder.

Three soft fights against Whyte, Chisora and Ngannou were big money earners but no preparation for fighting a genuine elite Champion fighter in Usyk last year. Ngannou could have got the nod that night as Fury had a shocker.

Fury is now ripe to end up in a heap like Joshua on Saturday and I will be very impressed if he can turn back the clock.

Totally agree, Beale. Fury has abused his body and that has been his downfall. I think people forget the time he spent out the ring and to be frank it is quite amazing that he took Usyk close despite all of that. When Fury came back in 2018 his legs weren't the same. He's ripe for a KO so it would be amazing if he could do it. I didn't thnk he was brave enough in terms of his tactics against Usyk and he will need to put it on him to have any chance.

Boxing has lost all the stars we had 10’years ago, certainly domestically.

I’d love to see the type of fights I’ve seen on links sent to me. Sort of comedy fights with people who can’t really fight. There seems to be shows of them in America. I remember this young pretty girl fought some old crack head looking thing and was beaten badly. Her hair kept falling out but she took it well.

Midgets, very fat and some other types are also in them. There may be a gap in the market for this.
