Mad to see all this acclaim for Ricky and how much he's come on. I can remember him struggling with O'Hara and complaining about his roughhousing.

Good luck to lad, shows what hard work can do..

Yep, I remember the O'Hara fight like it was yesterday, he looked **** poor..never thought he'd reach the heights he has.

He's an out and out top fella, I remember when he was viewed as nothing more than cannon fodder for Alex Arthur and he got robbed that night he just got on with it and deserves his success.

Mitchel Burns was 50/50 fight for me and didn't care who won until Mitchell made clear it was the paydays that Burns stood in the way of, money is always a factor but to have been demolished by Katsidis and have money as your primary focus doesn't bode we'll for a long career, you have to want it for more than just the money.

He does seem a bit dull outside the ring but there's nothing wrong with that- not everyone can be Dereck Chisora. He one heck of a fighter in the ring however which at the end of the day is what matters.

So if you aren't a loud mouth, cocky and eccentric mother****er you're considering boring in boxing? Because he doesn't Sip Belvedere in the VIP section of a club in between fights? What ever happened to wanting your favourite athlete to be a normal lad? Come on to ****.

    Boring IMO

    Much prefer the Rickster's style

That's real, and it's genuine, which there isn't enough of these days.

Burns seems a top bloke but he is not interesting enough to the peeps who love their celebrity ****. They want stories in heat magazine that they can chat **** about, they want him on celebrity juice or down the boozer getting wrecked and being a personality.

No good just sticking yer head down and getting on with bidness.

It's weird, I find Burns a million times more interesting than the likes of Harrison

Yeah but you have to remember mate, keeping a Saturday job you don't need just to stay grounded, marrying a nice local girl and not going out to Z list events and being the most improved boxer in Europe goes for nothing these days.
Add to that 99% of people think you're one of the most genuine people in the sport and you've got a right dirty ******* on your hands.
    A PR nightmare.
